One workspace, and room to make it theirs.
Macro replaces the pile. Email, chat, docs, tasks, calls, CRM, and agents in one system, tied together with team-level memory. Every module is included on every plan — there are no feature gates to sell around.
The inbox is keyboard-first and ranks what matters, splitting Signal from Noise. Chat, @mentions, pull requests, and agent tasks land in that same triage list. Docs are CRDT markdown with live agent cursors, full version history, and an export that stays plain markdown. Tasks follow the code — open a PR and the task moves to In Review, merge and it closes itself. The CRM builds itself out of email the team is already sending, and calls come back recorded, transcribed, and written into the same memory.
Open source, all the way down. Macro is AGPLv3 on GitHub — read it, fork it, extend it. Customers who have to run it themselves can self-host under the license; start at self-host@macro.com.
Connect anything over MCP. Agents reach the rest of a customer's stack through MCP, and they inherit that person's exact permissions. Notion, Slack, Linear, and ClickUp connect from Settings → Connectors.
Agents that do the work. They take real actions in the workspace, run on a schedule, and can be driven from a customer's own coding agent — so the automations you write keep running after you leave.
Migrations run on the same machinery. Gmail and Google Workspace sync the moment they're connected, so there is nothing to move. Notion, Linear, and ClickUp come across by connecting the tool and asking an agent to pull the docs and open issues in. Slack channels get rebuilt in Macro, and Slack can stay connected so agents can still search the history.
Where partners come in.
Scoping the workspace. Designing the channel structure that access cascades from. Wiring connectors, writing the agents that run every morning, and staying past go-live. Macro is built in Rust and SolidJS, so when a customer needs something the product doesn't do yet, the code is right there. White-labeling isn't in the interface today — for a commercial license outside AGPL, email licensing@macro.com.
Bring the company with you.
Consultants, agencies, developers, system integrators, accelerators, incubators — if you already sit next to the work, this is the program. Refer a customer. Stand Macro up. Build on it. We started this so the people in the room get paid for putting a company on one system, not just the salesperson.
Official partners get the badge, a directory listing, demo environments, training, and early looks at the product. There is no fee to join.
Referrals pay 30% of first-year subscription revenue Macro actually collects. You claim the deal after you've made a real introduction — no locking a company in a portal. If they were already in an active conversation with us, it doesn't count.
Payouts go out quarterly. Renewals after year one aren't in the cut. We want partners who migrate, implement, and stay close to the customer — not purchased lead lists. The full partner program terms are the contract; this is the deal in plain language.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing. There is no membership fee to join or stay in the program.
How much do referrals pay?
30% of first-year net subscription revenue for every qualified referral — the subscription fees Macro actually collects in the referred customer's first twelve months, excluding taxes, discounts, refunds, services, training, and anything priced outside the subscription. Renewals after the first year aren't eligible.
What counts as a qualified referral?
A customer you actually referred to Macro — a real introduction or material contribution, not a purchased or public lead list. You claim the deal after the fact. If they were already an active Macro opportunity, it doesn't count.
How do I claim a referral?
After you've referred someone, submit the claim through the process we designate — email, a form, or a partner portal. You don't register deals in advance to lock them. Credit goes to the partner who made the referral.
When do referral fees get paid?
Quarterly — generally within 45 days after the end of each calendar quarter. You'll need to give us payment details and a W-9, W-8, or equivalent tax form before the first payout.
Can I resell Macro?
Not through the partner program alone. Reselling requires a separate written reseller agreement — email partners@macro.com and we'll talk it through.
Can I white-label Macro?
Not in the product today — white-labeling isn't supported in the interface. If you need it for a customer, email support@macro.com and we'll talk it through.
What can I call myself?
An “Official Macro Partner,” using the approved badges and brand kit while you're in good standing. Designations like “Certified” or “Premier” only apply if we've expressly granted them.
Do partners get access to customer data?
No. Program membership doesn't grant access to Macro customer data. If a customer hires you directly and shares their workspace, that's their call and their agreement with you.
Is our workspace data secure?
Yes. Open source means the Macro application code is available to inspect. It does not make your workspace public. Data in your Macro account, including your team’s email, documents, messages, and other workspace content, remains private and secure.
